Monkey’s House is a hospice for rescue dogs. The organization is run entirely by volunteers who are dedicated to providing love and care for dogs at the end of their lives. Many of these dogs have never had homes, which makes love an even more special gift to give them.
Michele and Jeff Allen started Monkey’s House at their small farm when they saw a need for a better way to care for old rescue dogs. They named their dog hospice Monkey’s House after their beloved dog, Monkey, who passed away.
Monkey’s House is determined to give each dog whatever medical attention and special care is needed to make them as comfortable as possible. Many of the dogs at Monkey’s House have lived far longer than expected due to the excellent care they receive.
Monkey’s House survives entirely on donations, so check out their Facebook page if you’d like to help. The video below is absolutely heartwarming. Monkey’s House proves that kindness is still alive and well in our society, no matter how much we might doubt it at times.
What Monkey's HOUSE a dog hospice and sanctuary does for shelter dogs at the end of their life is so heartwarming!
